The chicken and the egg.

Today’s recall of millions of eggs should make us think again about the food we eat. While most of us are not going to go out and get some chickens for our yard, we might look for a trusted local source for our eggs. A brief glimpse of the farm that produced the tainted eggs showed chickens behind bars crowded into a small space. It’s hard to imagine that this is a healthy environment. Local health food stores generally limit their eggs to farms with free range chickens. Usually the prices are higher.
